  1. Which part of the course did you find most useful?

§         Interactive, participative, the more activities the better

§         Practical sessions

§         Writing learning outcomes

§         Collaborative group work

§         User education session

§         Using real situations to work on during sessions

§         Teaching and learning methodologies

§         Planning sessions/module writing

§         Structuring information skills

§         Being enables to create a plan and take it away

 

2.         Which part of the course did you find least useful?

§         The pure theory at the beginning

§         All was useful

§         Each participant outlining their needs – a little daunting for some!

§         Thought we were left to our own devices a lot – some more direct intervention would have been helpful

 

3.         Have you any other suggestions for improvements to the course?

§         Maybe a 2 day seminar

§         Timeframe quite tight

§         Excellent course

§         Would have liked some more time to discuss how other libraries are doing

§         More of them! Follow on.

§         Could be longer – allow for greater development of courses

 

4.         What other activities would you like ANLTC to offer?

§         Presentation skills

§         Internet searching and evaluation

§         Teaching and learning and how it fits into librarianship

§         More in depth training on principles of teaching and learning

§         Session on problem-based learning

§         Same course offered by a librarian – with more focus on specific content/databases
